What is the benefit of easily connecting to people and information?

The benefit of connecting with people easily is that you are able to converse more efficiently. If you are able to get in contact with people easier than you may be able to get things finished sooner. like say you have to do a report on your family's ethnic background but your parents don't know much about it, then you can  contact your grandparents and get the information. Another good thing about it is that you can be reunited with old distant relatives and friends.

MY own creative app.

If i were to create a app. for an ipod, phone, or computer i would make it something spectacular and entertaining. I would make my app. a test. It would ask you a series of questions about yourself and your life and then it would anaylze these questions based on your own zodiac table. I would like this app. because i enjoy astrology and i think its fun to learn about how much your personality fits your zodiac, rising, and acending signs. If it was analyzing your answers based on your Zodiac table it would be able to show different things about yourself because there is a lot of different traits because you have twelve houses of zodiac symbols and meanings.

What is the difference between the two? Well, Productivity Suites include numerous things such as, word processor, spreadsheet, database manager, and a presentaion application. Productivity is a more professional-grade application. Meaning it is usually used for buisness situations. An example of a Productivity Suites is Microsoft Office.

How can technology be used to create?

Technology can be used to create many different things. Like if you are in some sort of activity that needs advertising you can create your own posters and fliers. You can make scrap books more efficiently with the new technology there is. you can make play list of music for certain events. There are programs that are made for making brochures. You can create word searches and crossword puzzles and many other things. if there is something creative you would like to do there is most likely technology that can help you.

What is an iPod?

An iPod is a device used for storing music. At least for the first iPods that came out. Now they have applications you can put on them. There are hundreds of different things you can put on it. Like trivia games, mood reader, optical illusions, and things to draw on.
Not only that but when they first came out the were really big and bulky looking now they get thinner every time they make a new one. When you wanted to go to a new song you use to have to go around the wheel with your finger now they have touch screens. You can even get the Internet on your iPod now!
This is just yet another example of how quickly technology changes.

Why are keyboarding skills important in todays workplace?

It is very important to have keyboarding skills because it helps you type faster. The faster you type the quicker you can get certain jobs done. And sometimes that means you may get more work because the faster you type the quicker your work is done. If you have really good keyboarding skills sometimes you can get a promotion for it. they may want you as an assistant or want you to type in specifically the data they need to do their work. So if you get the chance you should take a class for keyboarding or just practice at home on your computer. Believe me you don't type as fast as everybody else if you don't have good keyboarding skills. It took me almost ten minutes just to write this.

When using computers and the internet, what are the threats to personal privacy and how can we protect ourselves.

While using the computer there are many threats. Such as people hacking into your computer and stealing your pictures, videos, contacts , and just about anything else you have on your computer alone. That's just the beginning of it. Not only can they take things from your computer, they can review your history on the Internet and log on to your email accounts, myspace, chat lines, your personal information you have stored on your computer and a lot more. All it takes is one person to hack into your computer and they could do a lot of damage. you could end up having a stocker or pervert or for all we know, a serial killer.

There are ways to protect yourself against these things though. There are software's that can help protect you and your personal things on your computer. Anti-viruses to keep your computer from crashing, fire-walls to keep people from logging on to your Internet through Wi-Fi. Then there are simple things like if you have LimeWire or  FrostWire it asks you if you want to share, this means sharing your pictures music videos, etc. with other people who can download it. So you should make sure you say no sharing because that also can create a kind of loop hole for them to find ways to hack into your computer and steal just about anything they want. So be careful people!

How can technology keep track of you, your friends and everyone else?

There are many ways that technology can keep track of you. for example your cell phone has a location device on it, that way if you get kidnapped or lost the police can track your phone through the E911 location on your phone. It can keep track of your friends by saving their phone number, having a page on facebook or myspsace, email addresses and many other ways. If one of your friends move or change their phone number you can usually still find them online. As for everyone else they have information of all sorts out there like blogging sites, chat lines, dating networks, e-mail accounts, webcams, pictures online, phone numbers, you can call 411 to ask for phone numbers to people or businesses. technology is an amazing thing.

What is the role of technolgy in creating new products?

Technology is basically the leading roll in creating new products. Almost everything we use has been advanced in technology in some ways. computers for example, they were huge and very slow and besides that you could write on them, there wasn't really anything special about them. Now look at the computers we have come out with. We now can buy a computer screen that is in HD and is big enough to be a TV. And the proccessing chip is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand yet it is just about the most important thing on  the mother board. The wierd thing is the smaller the chip the hotter it gets quicker, so it needs more fans. And how do you think the companies made that stuff, through technology.

What some people dont realize today is that we rely mostly on Technology. Doctors store our medical information in a computer, police have information on criminals in their computer, we no longer have to buy CDs because we can put all our music into an iPod, we can program our TVs to record the shows we want when we use to half to hook up a VHS player to the TV and get blank movies to record them on. A lot has changed within just the last ten years and all of these changes are thanks to technology.
